    Hello! My name is Chelsea Melamed and I am a professional opera singer and voice instructor. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the Lawrence University Conservatory and a Master's Degree in Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate at CCM (University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music) with an emphasis in voice and pedagogy so that I may earn top mastery in teaching and performing. I love helping students in all genres discover their voice and open their sound. I believe the basis of good singing technique translates across all musical platforms. I also think having a comfortable and fun environment are key factors for vocal growth. In addition, enjoy teaching beginning piano students. Please contact me at any time.     Chelsea is an excellent instructor who is patient, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. I'm extremely picky about teachers, but she is by far the best I've ever had and has improved by technique and understanding of music so much. I would recommend Chelsea to anyone, family, friends or strangers.
