Art History with Chelsea C.

I am an artist with a huge passion for teaching! I recently received my Single Subject Teaching Credential in Art from CSU Long Beach and hold a Bachelors Degree in Art Education. I began teaching six years ago at my local ballet studio, where I worked with youth ages 4-8. There, I fell in love with teaching and knew I wanted to peruse my love of Art in the teaching world! During my schooling, I have studied internationally in Florence, Italy, where I studied Italian Renaissance art under current professional Italian artists. This experience was indescribable and I hope to bring in aspects of my learning there to my future students. I have had experience teaching visual arts in many different settings, including elementary schools, after-school programs, high schools, and local art studios. I love working with any skill level and have experience working with Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced students. I cannot wait to find how I can help you grow as an artist, wherever you may currently be.
