Starting on violin 15 years ago, my journey through musicianship has been thorough and enriching. I have made a point from day one to understand all forms of music from several angles, from the intuitive "natural" approach, to the more theoretical, all the way to understanding the physics of sound and sound cognition. While this many angled approach came purely from my passion for music, 6 years ago when I started teaching it became my most valuable tool. 
As a teacher, I use my wide and multifaceted understanding to best craft lessons to serve your learning style to learn whatever it is you want to learn!
Teaching from my personal studio also provides me with the advantage of being able to make professional quality play along tools in real time, which you will then have access to after your lesson, boosting your personal practice time in a way that suits you!

I am an experienced guitar and bass player, with extensive recording and performance history.

In the 15 years I've played guitar, I have been teaching for the last 6 and it is one of my favorite outlets of music. I absolutely love sharing my craft and finding what it takes to get a student playing what they want to play!

I am just as happy to show you how to play your favorite songs as I would be to teach you how to write your own music. Whatever it is you wish to learn, you can learn it with me.

Chase's compassion for the arts is contagious.  My son learned so much from Chase over the last year both in person and digitally when the virus shut everything down.  His ability to transition in difficult times is amazing.  If you are looking for passion, patience, and raw talent, he is a perfect match!

Chase is an amazing music teacher. He tailors lessons to each individual student to enhance their learning based on their skills. Over the course of 2 years he taught my son who had no experience in bass guitar, how to play and helped him perform in multiple rock band groups. Above all, he is patient, kind and truly enjoys teaching.

Chase has great practical approaches to teaching younger students. He is knowledgeable in theory, technique, ear training and reading charts. He also makes his classes enjoyable so his student want to learn. Highly recommended!!

We like Chase a lot! Enjoyed in person lessons before COVID-19 but doing online lessons has been good for embracing technology in music. Chase let’s us pick music we like and adjusts to the ability level of the student.
