Guitar with Charlie L.

I started playing guitar when I was ten, 22 years ago. I always wanted to be a professional musician when I was a kid and my parents encouraged me to back up my dream with something practical. I have always cooked primarily and made money on the side playing music so I decided culinary school was a safe bet. I worked as a cook and later as a chef for over ten years until I recently decided I was bored doing the same thing every day and that I would like to shift once again, to doing more music but still cooking for pleasure and fun. I have always been a natural at teaching and I began teaching guitar in 2009. Now I have achieved a perfect balance of my two passions and I couldn't be happier. I get to make my own hours, teaching cooking and guitar and mostly I work from home. I have enough creative energy in the tank to put a lot into both my songs and my meals.
