As a piano teacher who has worked in London for the past 4 years and has only recently moved to North Carolina. I have a myriad of experience in dealing with a variety of students ranging from complete beginners to grade exam veterans with ages ranging from 6 to 65. From this experience I have developed a student centered methodology in crafting lessons based on individual learning habits and preferences. This is where I feel like I differ from other teachers. I am a firm believer in helping a student grow and develop in their own way to help them grow a solid understanding; a contrast to the typical practice of strict teacher doctrines that promise short term gain at the expense of enjoyment and understanding.

I am a recent university graduate who has been working as a part time piano tutor for the last 4 years. For me, what made me get into teaching at the beginning was the chance for me to connect with a variety of students and nurture them into blooming pianists. I feel like my teaching style is warm and welcoming yet strict when necessary.
