    About Charles C.

Hi! I’m so glad you stumbled upon my TakeLessons profile because it means that you’re a step closer to becoming a ‘real’ musician. But before you call up images of cold concert halls and stuffy, tuxedoed audiences or international superstars selling out arenas, let me briefly explain what it means to be a ‘real’ musician. A real musician can be anybody! YOU can be a real musician; you just might not know it, yet. A real musician is ANYONE who plays or performs on an instrument with a mindset of exploration, discovery, and passion. Sure, technique and physical mastery of the craft can help but the only thing that can make you a real musician is the desire to always be exploring and learning; not to mention having a lot of fun! I’m a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and performer of over 20 years and the one thing I’ve learned throughout my life and career is that the only thing that really matters is passion and a desire to learn and create. I can help you identify your goals, make new ones, and most importantly CONNECT with your instrument in a meaningful way. If you’re just starting and feeling a bit timid, that’s okay too! As an instructor, I strongly prefer to let the needs of the student guide the course and direction of our lessons. Send me a message today and let’s look beyond the notes to find the true, unparalleled joy of playing and creating music.
