Learn piano from a young and experienced player.

Hello! My name is Chambers Giblin, I am 26 years old, I grew up in Denver, and I am excited to help you learn an instrument I have loved my entire life. I am new to teaching, but I have played classical and blues/jazz piano for over 15 years. I would be best suited for a beginner or intermediate student of any age, that is looking to receive a well-rounded education in playing and performing. In a lesson, I will prioritize learning by playing. I believe reading music, chords, scales, and theory are all tools to get us to the final goal of comfortably performing and sharing our talents. With me, you can expect to three things: 1- you will find pieces you are excited to learn; 2- I will provide guidance and a framework for learning, not only the mechanics of playing, but also the “why” or theory behind a piece that will allow you to understand (and eventually compose) music; and finally 3 - a fun and productive environment to learn. After all, this is an exercise in self development that we should all enjoy!
