Lessons for both electric and acoustic guitar. I teach building blocks for many musical styles- such as Jazz, Blues, Classical, Rock, R&B, Country, Latin and Folk Beginners to more experienced players will benefit from these lessons. I am a very patient teacher. Since I was once a beginner myself, I understand whatever level you are at with your playing at the moment is OK. The musical skills I teach will enable you to continue developing as a guitarist. I am a graduate from Cornish College Of The Arts cum laude, with focus on instrumental performance. *** Studio Equipment *** student guitar (optional) and amp (optional) *** Travel Equipment *** I do not provide any equipment when traveling to your location. At your location, you the student should have a guitar, music stand and any other accessories needed (such as picks, strings, amplifier, staff paper etc.) I'm more than happy to help you find what you are looking for!

Chad Walker teaches the full spectrum of music theory. Though jazz is his true love, classical, pop, rock, R&B, blues, folk, are all part of his forte. I have learned valuable lessons about using scale theory as the starting point to craft improvisation, and how to create complex cords that carry original melodies when writing original jazz. He is a patient thorough mentor that helped me develop my own personal voice. But if you are a beginner, I highly recommend Chad Walker because he can build the platform for a person to enjoy playing music for a lifetime.
