    About Celine S.

Celine was born and raised in Ventura County, but she just moved to Washington State to be closer to her sister and her family. In her community she was heavily involved with local programs like the Children’s String Ensemble, which was a free program she volunteered for from 2007-2011. When she graduated she went to San Francisco State University to pursue a degree in music. While there she studied under the Alexander String Quartet and continued her teaching through Vibo Music Center. In 2015 she was inspired to jumpstart a free afterschool string orchestra program which she spearheaded and taught. After graduating in 2016 she headed back home and continued to pursue expanding her teaching and performing. With this she started a new program for pre-school at a local community center called Music Land. Shortly after, she moved on to start becoming more involved with her local music programs at various schools by coaching their upper string students. Eventually becoming a substitute teacher and long term subbing a music class, she has developed the ability to teach in and out of the classroom. With 12+ years of teaching under her belt she is able to share her knowledge and experiences with her students. She has played professionally in weddings, small fundraisers, church services, and plays/musicals. She even has sung in choirs and has collaborated with other musicians in small chamber group performances. She has had her share of performances and auditions in which she can share with her students. In her lessons she helps the student learn not only their instrument but how to practice and be independent. From technique to music theory she helps her students better understand their instrument. In the end her goal is to nurture your love of music and the love of learning new things. Becoming an independent musician like herself. On her non teaching days she loves, video games and board games, hiking, traveling, watching movies, playing DnD and singing. She also is a professional photographer which she does occasional jobs for as well as a side hobby. She loves getting to know new people so share some fun facts about yourself in your message!
