Celicia Slafter has been a professional woodwind musician for 15 years. She studied Music Business with an emphasis in performance, and graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans.

Her early career was spent as a musician in the United States Marine Corps Bands for almost 10 years, where she performed throughout the United States for events like "Stand Up for Heroes" in New York, on the same stage as performers like Robin Williams and Bruce Springsteen and the pre-game show for Superbowl XLI in Miami.

She now performs throughout Florida for events like "Spamalot," "Avenue Q," and "1776" musicals at the Waterfront Playhouse in Key West, in big bands such as the Paradise Big Band, and special events such as the "Key West Reverie," put on by Wendy Taucher sponsored by The Studios of Key West.

Celicia Slafter is now based in Largo, FL.
