I worked as the Music Coordinator at an after school program for at risk kids. I taught them basic musician skills as well as note and rhythm coordination.

I started and directed this all female a cappella group. With a wide variety of music selections we were able to work together as a group and learn about technique and ensemble skills along the way. I left this group because of my graduation and have left it to another student director to take over.

I am Classically trained in voice as well as Vocal Diction and Pedagogy. I can assist with issues related to vocal stress or tension in the vocal chords. I excel at teaching beginner/intermediate levels of voice as well as piano and I am also qualified to continue with your education as you progress. I plan the lesson around the student so we can move at your pace. I understand that learning a new skill can be difficult and stressful; so I work hard to make my lessons relaxing and enjoyable. I can help you whether you are planning on having a lesson every week or just need some final polishing before an audition.

I am a classically trained soprano. I've toured and performed solo works internationally. I've recently finished working with a small a cappella female group and am now looking for more students to teach after I graduate! I'm graduating with a Bachelor's degree in music and I've worked with baroque/renaissance styles all the way through Broadway's current hits.  I wasn't a natural at music theory in the beginning, which means I had to learn through rigorous practice and therefore I am better equipped to teach the broadest range of students. My education has been all inclusive so we can work together to find the best strategy for your lessons. I hope we can work together!
