I have been knitting for over twenty years! Self taught and passionate! I loved being a test knitter for a designer! I teach the continental method of knitting. We can create your lessons around what you desire to start to learn to make.

First  several lessons will include materials, how to cast on, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, and how to cast off! After that the sky is the limit! Increases, decreases, how to read patterns, cable knitting, and more!

Hi my name is Cathy and I can’t wait to meet you! I am a 48 year old with two children. My daughter is a cosmotolgist and is 23. My son is 20 and in the Navy! I started knitting when I was pregnant with my daughter and have never stopped. I knew no one who knit so I self taught myself from a book. I went on to found our local TKGA chapter before I handed it over!  For several years I was a test knitter for designer Jennifer Hagan! I love to spread the knitting love to others! I love knitting lessons with Cathy!!! For many years I wanted to learn how to knit. But sadly the only one in my family who knew how to knit passed away. I kept putting it off and it was to late.
