Let’s get started learning origami! I’m an experienced folder who was runner-up in MIT’s OrigaMIT club annual competition in 2013. Ive been doing origami since I was a little girl. All ages welcome. Lessons will be catered to the individual’s interests and customized. I’m a big believer in the power that origami has to make a difference in people’s lives, whether it is as a hobby or as a gift. Bring in any models you’re working on and need help on or we can start new models. It’s up to you! So let’s get folding!

I was born and raised in New York City. As a child I did origami with OrigamiUSA out of the Museum of Natural History. In sixth grade I was invited by my teacher to teach origami to fourth graders during math class. I also participated in MIT's origami club OrigaMIT. I was recently enrolled as a student at Columbia University in New York City before moving to Miami. I hope to help folders realize the same joy that origami has brought me, whether it's through folding for pleasure or making gifts.

Catherine was patient, clear, and pleasant.  We covered a lot of ground in an hour and I really enjoyed myself.  Have no qualms recommending her to others who aspire to learn origami.

Our son received origami lessons with Catherine for his 7th birthday.  She is very patient and our son was able to follow her instructions step-by-step.  He was very proud of the creations he made with her and can't wait for his next lesson!

Catherine was so incredibly nice. She taught me and my husband for our 1 year anniversary. It was such a special lesson and we got to keep the  paper. Will be framing them when I get home.

My 11 year old son describes Catherine as "amazing!" He says she is kind, patient and skillful and he wants to take as many lessons from her as possible.
