Education is the key to crafting a brighter future; this value was instilled in me from a young age by my family. Growing up I had an intense love of learning which translated to high scores in the classroom and reading at a ninth grade level in third grade. I hope to instill that love of learning into the students I work with. I am a summa cum laude college graduate with experience tutoring 2nd through 8th grade. I have experience tutoring primarily English and Math; one of my clients had dyslexia and another ADHD. During my sessions, I focus on each student's individualized skills and the areas that challenge them. I work to determine the student's learning style and cater my lessons to that style. I love working with children and helping them learn and grow as students and people. Currently, I am also employed as a teaching artist with a Manhattan based theater company. Informally I tutored other college students in Biology, Psychology, and History.
