I'm an expert, advanced level English/ESL teacher of over 10 years experience. I received my first degree, a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Music, from the University of Oregon in 1980, and in 2002 I concluded a Teacher Training Program through Northwest Christian College and acquired licenses to teach ESL and middle school maths -in which I was rated Highly Qualified. After a year of substitute teaching in Hillsborough, I relocated to St Paul Island AK, where I taught math and music. From 2007-2015 I taught English in Prague, in the Czech Republic I speak Czech (a Slavic language, related to Russian and Polish) at an intermediate level, as well as a little bit of French and Italian. As an English teacher, my specialities are building your vocabulary, making grammar understandable and helping you learn to love writing!
