    About Catalina V.

Hello my name is Catalina, I am a freelance composer, clarinetist, and educator. I hold a Master of Music Degree from Florida International University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Lewis & Clark College. I am currently adjunct faculty at Florida International University teaching music history and I am also part of the school of music staff as marketing assistant. I am, and always will be an advocate of the arts, and their importance for cultural growth. My future plans include advanced studies in composition focusing on how notation affects interpretation and music theory, and vice versa, with special interests in gender, and culture.
