Cello with Cassidy M.

I studied music at Roosevelt University Chicago College of Performing Arts under members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, specifically Richard Hirschl and Daniel Katz. I have played in Symphonies, such as Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra as a Fellow, and I have performed across Italy on a tour. I also specialize in early music (music of the Baroque period), and perform on both Baroque cello and Tenor Viol. I studied Baroque cello at both Oberlin's Baroque Performance Institute and the Twin Cities Baroque Instrumental Program. I have been teaching the cello for 5 years with students ranging in age from 8-adult. I have much experience in audition preparation, as my students have always auditioned and made the advanced orchestras in school. As music is a passion of mine, I strive to instill that same joy in my students!
