Hello there! I've been playing bassoon for decades, and teaching regularly for over 10 years. I have a Masters degree in Bassoon Performance from the University of Arizona and play in all sorts of ways all around Southern Arizona and internationally. My students age from adult all the way down to 5th grade and every lesson is tailored to the individual needs of the student, focusing on a strong foundation and musicality. Students are encouraged to perform solos twice per year, listen to bassoon recordings and videos, practice regularly and attend lessons, and to participate in community ensembles and performing groups.
