Music Theory with Casey L.

Casey L. was born and raised in Venice California. She has been teaching voice and piano for two years and loves to share her passion for music. As a kid she always sang around the house and by the age of five was singing locally in school musicals and in the community. She was classically trained at Concordia University in Montreal and later finished her music degree at California State University Sacramento in jazz voice and improvisation under the instruction of Julia Dollison. Casey is currently in a band called Cave Women; a group of five women that play and sing original music. They have been featured on Capitol Public Radio, in The Sacramento Bee and on local television stations. Besides voice and piano, Casey plays the stand-up bass and mbira.
