Guitar with Casey B.

My name is Casey Brown, and I'm a musician from the greater Philadelphia area. I graduated cum laude from Penn State with a bachelors focused in Music Entrepreneurship. Though guitar has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, college is where I learned to write, sing, record, produce, and copyright my music. I learned guitar by emulating my favorite guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix, John Mayer, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, and by playing along to popular songs like "Lose Yourself" by Eminem, "California Girls" by Katy Perry, and "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana. I learned to perform in church, winning a state-wide talent competition for my guitar abilities. I rely mostly on the way the music feels to dictate my playing, and this has allowed me to bounce between various styles in various settings without overplaying. My career goal is to be a successful musician, and Einstein once said: "If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough."
