The guitar is an incredible instrument. It is a centerpiece in almost any style of music over the last century, and there are so many areas and styles to explore. This instrument has kept me inspired and interested for over 20 years, and I am STILL fascinated by it and discovering new things. 

Guitar lessons with me are unique because I have a multitude of performance and teaching experience professionally and I have had amazing teachers that I  thankfully learned a lot from. Regardless of the skill level, I'm exceptionally good at breaking things down to where they are less intimidating. The most important elements to me as far as a student is concerned are:

Why YOU are interested in music is a priority to me as a teacher, and is the centerpiece of what we will build on.

I've been fascinated with the guitar since I was 12 years old, and am still learning to this day. Performing, studio work, and teaching have been my day to day for about 14 years now and it's unreal how satisfying it is. I got interested in the guitar playing Rock and Metal, eventually got a jazz degree, and then worked in just about every situation I could have imagined in Austin, TX. I have experience in a multitude of styles and situations, still play and perform on a high level, and have a lot of patience when it comes to people learning the instrument.
