I am a drum teacher based in Hyattsville Maryland. I have studied with some of the greatest drummers in the world including Mike Mangini, Dom Famularo, Rod Morgenstein, and Dave DiCenso. I went to Berklee College of Music, and afterward, I played major festivals around the world. After my band broke up 🥲, I worked as a drum tech in New York City for many high-profile artists. I have also done many recording sessions in Nashville. I will not just give you a drum lesson, I will also teach you how to record yourself, and show you what you sound like. I can't wait to get started with you!

Carson is incredibly patient, talking a total beginner through the basics. It's also clear that he loves his craft and is devoted to being both a great musician and an outstanding teacher and mentor to aspiring drummers. My kids have had lots of music lessons on various instruments over the years, and Carson really stands out as a talented and caring instructor.

I am really happy with my lessons with Carson. I have seen significant improvement since I started with him. He has extensive experience that most people can't give in regular drum lessons. Not only have I learned techniques for learning drums, but I have also learned a great deal about recording. I have also learned the basics of marimba, and xylophone as well which is not something that I thought I would be learning. I highly recommend this teacher!
