Piano with Carrie C.

I am currently pursuing a dual Masters degree at the University of Michigan in piano performance and chamber music. I have taught for five years and have been continually amazed by the work that the students have done in music. I love interacting with kids and adults who come to me because of their love for piano. Back at home in California I have had students take the ABRSM exams in both the performance and music theory and pass successfully. I help students reach the excellence that they wish to achieve. Although I am a very patient teacher, I still push students when needed so they reach goals they did not think they could have reached. I teach a lot of beginners, so many of them build their foundations of music (note reading, rhythm, music theory, dynamics) with me. I would love to get to know the students more and support them in their endeavors in piano!
