American Sign Language with Carolyn S.

I am DeafBlind. I know American Sign Language (ASL) my whole life and it is my first language. I studied ASL Studies at university. Not only ASL, but learn about grammar structure, linguistics, and history. Even interesting I attended Gallaudet University, the first Deaf university in the world and it is based in DC. I even experienced the study abroad in Italy and France. My passion is also to travel and learn about different sign language, so I was able to communicate with other people. I was very fantastic about my love for history and culture. I have been taught ASL for a couple of months at college and high school. I’ continue to tutor student at StartASL from college students to adult since April. I love to teach and tell people how to love the language and how it is different than other languages. It is my passion and I enjoy the challenge for students to learn the new language.
