My name is Carolyn Scipioni, and I've been studying the violin for over 16 years now. I was classically trained at Settlement Music school, and then continued my education with the Concertmaster of the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia. I then went on to Temple's Boyer College of music and am currently in the process of finishing my Bachelors degree in Music Education. I have studied under some of the best in the business, and love teaching and watching the growth of my students.

On the side, I'm in a country band with one of the finalists from the show, "The Voice." We have preformed in some of the best venues around the Philly area, and are currently moving on and upward. So I don't just teach classical!

If you are interested in different styles on the violin, I am very well versed in diversity!

Please contact me with any questions! I'd love to talk to you!

I cannot say enough kind words about Ms. Carolyn!!! She is honestly one of the coolest people I've ever met. Super down to earth and is a brilliant teacher. She'll help you get through your struggles and overcome that hill you've been unable to climb. Especially, in my case, (the dreaded) spiccato!

I even went to see one of her shows. She kills it.

If you're interested in learning, I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Carolyn is an outstanding, patient, crazy talented violin teacher who loves her students and treats them as dear friends. She's young, but quite the old soul. Her methods have helped me advance so quickly, and I can't thank her enough. I'd recommend her to anyone.
