Today what's the first lesson for my two girls with Carolyn. All I can say but the lesson was absolutely amazing my girls came out extremely inspired with lots of exciting homework to do they couldn't wait to show me what they've learned and couldn't wait to start practicing Carolyn was everything we were hoping for and a lot more. I have no doubts that would have made the best choice who could possibly make. My girls can't wait for their next lesson.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏👏👏👏Show More
Great first time tapping at 72, Carolyn was great
Carolyn was very helpful! I’m looking forward to our next session.
Beyond expectations. She took a shy girl and helped her find her voice in one lesson. I got a radiantly, beaming, head-held-high, confident child back at the end of the hour!!
She's the best of the best! Absolutely loved working with Carolyn. Highly recommend to others!
Very grateful for all the things I learned with Carolyn! I couldn't have asked for a better chance to learn voice-acting. Would recommend for those wanting to break into the voice-over business!
I need help holding my notes and other area
Carolyn is very dedicated and detailed with her teaching and exercises. She cares so much! She is sure to hit every question and concern and skillfully notices areas of improvement. I came out with way more than I expected!
Carolyn is an amazing teacher! As a beginning singer, she knows how to tailor lessons exactly to my needs. She does a spectacular job at accommodating the rock music style of singing I use in my song writing, recording, and performances, and is always clear about what's working for me and what I can improve, and how.
Furthermore, she has a strong song-writing and production background and has acted as a producer of sorts in the best way possible, challenging me to work outside of my comfort zone in order to help me package the music I've written into the best songs they could ever be.
She really knows what she is doing, is extremely personable, and I highly recommend her for anything music-related!
Carolyn was fantastic. She was very focused on the voice and helping me find mine. I sang in college and for quite a while in my adult life in choirs both classical and jazz groups and she helped me to start the path of finding out what my voice really sounds like.
I had a fabulous time for the time I spent in New York studying with her.
Carolyn is friendly, takes the lesson seriously and she explains herself very well. She's also very patient and really tries to make the lesson fun. Her high energy attitude really keeps the session moving and the time flew by. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with her and I would highly recommend her to anyone.Show More
Carolyn was a tremendous teacher. I just wanted to understand the basics and she was able to provide an excellent foundation. I think that it's likely that I'm much (much) older than the usual student that's interested in tap, and Carolyn managed my own limitations with skill and good humor. Oh, and besides being a great teacher, she's an amazing tap dancer!Show More
Carlota is very happy after her first class!
Having just started to learn piano, I'd recommend Carolyn as one of the best teachers ever! She simply makes learning an instrument fun and 3 months in our home is now filled with music! You can feel your improving with every lesson.
Carolyn spent a lot of time getting to know my daughter and her needs so she could customize the experience. She was fun and engaging and made it fun for my daughter. We are excited about working with her more.
Caroline loved her first acting lesson with Carolyn. She is very much looking forward to her next session.
Great First Session. Looking forward to working with Carolyn!
Carolyn exceeded my expectations, she is an amazing coach!
I didn't leave Carolyn much time, but she was able to come up with dance choreography video lessons for me and my wife to use for our first dance. It was exactly what I was asking. Great work!
Carolyn is amazing!!! super professional and knowledgeable. She has an amazing talent. Great motivator and the best instructor i could ever had.
Carolyn is truly an amazing person and acting coach. I was beginning to think that I was too old to pursue my passion of becoming an actor. However, after a few lessons with Carolyn I believe that age is truly just a number and as long as one is dedicated, believes in themselves and keeps there eye on the prize their is no cut off when it comes to attaining ones dreams. Carolyn takes pride in her work and will steer you in the right direction.Show More
So great! she was very professional and knowledgeable and my kids loved her!!
Carolyn is the best-great pianist ,very patient, great for the beginner as well as the more accomplished....highly recommend her!!!
Carolyn put together a dance routine for my mother and I to dance to at my wedding reception. It was a 4 song mix, which she researched and put together moves that were easy and unique to the songs. My mom and I had a blast learning them and dancing to them, and everyone at the reception was quite impressed! It was definitely a huge hit! I also need to add that this was all done on short notice with a very quick turnaround. Carolyn is a professional who cares!
Thank you Carolyn!
Carolyn provided dance lessons for a small flash mob for my wife's 40th birthday. Not only was she willing to do this last minute, she pulled off an awesome dance routine. I highly recommend!
Carolyn was excellent she's professional she was fun... she wanted to get to know the kids that she was teaching so that she can instruct them properly!!! The kids learned a lot and are ready to take another lesson! Best tap classes ever!!!
On time, enthusiastic, professional. Loved it
Never saw someone so talented as a performer be as talented as a teacher. People respond so well to her. Her skill as well as training makes her one of the best upcoming people in the business.
She really brought out the best in me
Carolyn is an excellent teacher -- as a parent I would recommend her to anybody who is looking for a kind, fun and very skilled voice/piano teacher. Carolyn is all of these things plus more. What I really like about her, besides that she is very knowledgable and amazingly talented, is that she is always happy and cheerful! Olivia loves to go to her lessons and she learned so much during her time with Carolyn.Show More

Carolyn moves at a great pace and is extremely helpful. I especially love when we practice rhythm on a piece of music!
Carolyn is awesome. I love everything about our lessons. Things that I wasn't 100% clear on before, I now feel confident about. Something about the way she teaches theory makes it accessible and simple.
Carolyn's class is awesome. Nothing but good things to say, really. I feel, already, as if I’m more qualified to work with music. Carolyn broke everything down very simply and straight forward, with patience and ease and made it so easy to follow along. I really do love working with her. Carolyn is great!Show More
Carolyn gave me a solid, accessible foundation of theory which I could directly apply to my audition situations. Instead of panicking when I get a piece of new music, I now see it as a treasure trove of information I now have the key to unlock. Thanks to her, I am an empowered actor, and that’s always a good thing!Show More
My daughter adores Carolyn, as do I. She is incredibly knowledgeable and a true jack of all trades--we recently started coming for lessons 2x a week because of how much she has to offer. Madison has grown so much as an actress/singer in the last 3 months since they started working together and I know that's not by sheer coincidence. Carolyn is worth every penny. Thank you Carolyn for all your hard work and dedication, and for being such a great role model. Maddie and I can't wait to see you on Broadway soon!Show More
