I am a vocal musician and music educator with experience in performing various styles of music such as Classical, Jazz, Pop, A Cappella, Contemporary Christian, Barbershop, and Musical Theater. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2015 with Summa Cum Laude honors. Since then, I have taught Middle School Choir for two years and loved it! My choirs have consistently earned a Sweepstakes rating at UIL Concert and Sightreading Competition, meaning that they scored the highest rating in both categories. I also regularly perform with a female barbershop quartet called, "The Ladies". We sing many genres of music and love to clinic groups at music camps. The Ladies received first place at the International Rising Star Competition in Auckland, New Zealand in 2016! I am passionate about helping students reach their potential by doing what they love. I believe learning should be creative, fun and exploratory. Music making and refining your skills is hard work; however, it is met with the enjoyment of creative expression and skills in creativity (important regardless of one's profession). I look forward to getting to know you better and starting this journey together!
