    About Caroline D.

I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. in Writing Seminars, with additional coursework in Literature, History, Psychology, and French. I have tutored variously-aged students in different subjects: high school students in English; grade school children in literacy; and adults in basic math. I have also taught World Religions to students at the Columbia University Summer Program, and creative writing/literature to high schoolers at the Young Writers Workshop at UVa, as well as to adults in workshops all around Baltimore. I have a deep love for learning, reading and writing, but am eager to help others to find it. Yet, I am also keenly aware of the difficulties students may face with reading comprehension, writing clearly, especially if they are not receiving enough specific attention at school. I believe in tailoring lessons to the needs and interests of students, making education a collaborative effort. In my spare time, I also enjoy baseball, music, and theatre.
