    About Carol T.

I'm a 3D artist who graduated from Ringling College's 4 year Game Art program in June 2016. After graduating, I had the opportunity to work on triple A game tittles Spiderman PS4 as an Associate Environment Artist and Outsource Artist. I am now working as a Technical Environment Artist/ 3D generalist at James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment. During my employment at Insomniac I supported designers, environment artists, and character artists through asset creation, set dressing, and outsourced deliveries. I also collaborated with technical artists to create tools and automate processes for their outsourcing pipeline. Lastly I created and managed art direction and asset-making documentation for the internal team and external vendors, offering clear and concise feedback and instructions to outsource artists. At Lightstorm Entertainment, I’ve created production quality props and costume assets within short deadlines. I have also diagnosed scene files for optimization and performance issues, and collaborated with Weta’s technical artists to create tools that streamlined the exporting process for rigged characters. Lastly, I've worked closely with Production Designers and Art Directors to create look development for creatures and large-scale visual FX in scenes. My focuses are in modeling, texturing, and set dressing, with extensive experience in Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop, Substance Suite and Unreal Engine. That being said, I thrive in environments with a variety of problems to solve. I actively seek ways to make processes more efficient, and don’t shy away from complicated technical scenarios, all while maintaining the visual fidelity my projects demands from me. Thank you for visiting my profile! For any inquiries, please feel free to contact me through TakeLessons. My skills include, but are not limited to: 3D Modeling, Texturing, Rendering, Environment Modeling, Low-poly Modeling, Lighting, Physically Based Rendering, Look Development, Prop Modeling, Prop Design, High-poly Modeling, Environment Design Software I'm familiar with: Maya, Unreal Engine, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Substance Alchemist, Substance Designer, Python, Photoshop, Keyshot, xNormal, RizomUV, 3DCoat, SpeedTree, Houdini
