Hi my name is Carol (CJ) I have been sewing for fifty something years! Taught myself at the age of nine! By the time I was in junior high taking home economics class I was already make 3 piece suits! I always enjoyed being creative and making something! I had a dressmaking/alteration shop for several years making many band uniforms for local colleges and high school choir dresses. Replaced many zippers, hemming dresses and pants! I do believe my favorite was making dance recital dresses for those little toddlers and beauty pageant dresses from a sketch! About 8 yrs ago I began quilting which was a new outlet for me to be creative! Learning to look at the values in colors and combining new color schemes and patterns! After making several quilts I started taking pictures and making my own patterns and reproducing the photo in fabric! Fiber Artist! Its enjoyable to use different medias!
