    About Carly O.

Greetings from bi-coastal vocal coach and entertainer Carly Ozard, based in NYC, San Francisco and sometimes Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! For the last three years I have been training with Maestro Bill Schuman who is the vocal coach responsible for some of the most incredible vocalists in Pop, on Broadway and in Opera. Bill has shown me how to use my voice and musical talent to the fullest and he has empowered me to pass on that skill to other vocalists as a coach. Let me tell you how Bill and I met….. It was a tough time. I lost my ability to sing for about five years and didn’t know where to turn. Then I met Bill Schuman and he helped me get my life back because my ability to sing is my life. He helped me build a new voice and a mechanical body to launch my sound to heights I never dreamed of. Singing is what defines me and I have appeared as a solo artist in the following clubs; The Rrazz Room, Feinstein's at the Nikko, Feinstein's/54 below, Stage72 At the Triad, The Duplex, Don't Tell Mama, The Red Room, The Metropolitan Room, Martuni's. Now I am teaching what I’ve learned from Bill Schuman, in the past three years, to other vocalists. It is so rewarding to coach and to show other performers how to strengthen their vocal abilities and secure work. Notice I use the word “work,” as in get paid for the talent that we are blessed to possess. To sing is to share a gift and I get a great deal of joy, almost as much as when I am singing, when I am helping another performer achieve their personal goals. Let’s go on a journey of growth together! My current client base is mostly classical and operatic performers that are interested in transitioning to musical theater and developing the coveted high belt that most iconic theatrical vocalists have. Carly offers Skype lessons worldwide, and meets in person if we're both in the same city!
