My name is Carlos Campos. I am a piano teacher and have taught professionally for over 20 years. I taught at Berklee College of Music, New England Conservatory, Musicians Institute, The Cornel School of Music and Los Angeles College of Music. I teach music online to students worldwide via Zoom from my studio in Los Angeles. I use several cameras to enhance the online music lesson experience. My online students receive a video recording of each lesson plus supporting media. My classes are always fun, stress free but with a strong curriculum, organized and dynamic. - Piano: I teach contemporary, pop and jazz piano styles. I also teach sight-reading, technique, improvisation, piano repertoire and jazz voicings. - Music Theory: I teach both Jazz Chord-Scale based Harmony and Traditional Four Part Harmony. I also teach Ear Training and Solfege. I wrote a six level course on Ear Training-Solfege which is been used in different colleges. My music theory students range from beginners to advanced. - Guitar/Bass: I'm a pianist but I work with my Guitar and Bass students in the areas of Jazz Improvisation, Music Theory, Ear Training, Solfege, Sight-Reading, Groove development and contemporary repertoire. - Songwriters/Producers: Over the years I worked on giving shape to the songs and ideas of many songwriters and producers. With my songwriting and production students, I work with their melodic development, chord progressions, Hit-Song deconstruction and modeling, and how to create your own music drawing from the best contemporary resources. I would love to work with you! Please send me a message to talk about your musical goals and needs.

Carlos is amazing. He is very organized and punctual. My son loves that Carlos gives him clear instructions for homework and provides video of his lesson for review. He is always looking forward to our lessons.
