If you're reading this, it's because you like music and you are interested in taking lessons... and I think THAT'S GREAT!

Everyone has to begin somewhere. For me, my parents started me on lessons for the Violin when I was four years old. Later I played Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Concert (Upright) Bass, and discovered my chief instruments, the Voice and the Guitar. Because of that foundation, I have already had a life in music, and not just the classical music I was exposed to as a youngster.

I'm an opera singer, I'm a guitarist, and I'm an Audio Engineer. (For those of you who might not know, an Audio Engineer is someone who is trained in the art of recording and recording technology. We know about the SCIENCE of sound itself!) I've got a varied background in many different styles, and what it takes to PERFORM them, and that's what I can bring to the table as YOUR music teacher. I've been on the opera stage with an orchestra, sung in a jazz band for swanky gala events, and played in dive bars with my rock band.

But please, before we begin, allow me to temper your expectations: Nobody, no matter how talented, reached their musical prime in a day, a week, or even a year. Musical training takes a great deal of discipline, focus, and perseverance.

I'm still working at it, too. =)

Together, we can work to realize YOUR musical goals, one day at a time.

From a production of "L'Elisir d'Amore" by Gaetano Donizetti, where I played the role of the lead tenor, Nemorino.

Playing and Singing with a band, back when my hair was shorter!

About to start a set. That's my black Gibson SG Standard, Juno.

Playing with a band at Rams Head Live! in Baltimore. With me is my Gibson Explorer Standard, Josephine.

Another shot from the old days. That's my Gibson Les Paul Standard, Juliet.

This one was in Arezzo, Italy, where I played Gherardo, part of a wacky, money-grubbing family in Puccini's "Gianni Schicchi."
