Carl Bird is an Adjunct Professor of Biology at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ where he instructs lecture and lab sections of Human Structure and Function.
In addition to his work at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Mr. Bird is a high school special education science teacher at Watchung Hills Regional High School in Warren, NJ. At Watchung Hills, he has independently and co-taught 14 courses in biology, chemistry, physics and general science.
Prof. Bird began his studies at Drew University, where he majored in biology with minors in environmental science and a self designed minor in vocology. He later studied at Fairleigh Dickinson and completed a M.S. in Biology with a concentration in neuropharmacology. Concurrently with the Masters of Science, he then completed a Masters of Arts in education with a concentration in Special Education at the College of Saint Elizabeth.
Carl Bird takes the extra step in his tutoring and teaching. If it weren't for him, my daughter would not have completed Biology and Physics and thus would not have graduated.
Carl did a great job helping my daughter. He communicated regularly with her teacher and kept me well in the loop. After each session, he would share updates about her progress and what she accomplished. On top of all this, he was very personable, professional and responsive. I highly recommend Carl and would definitely use his services in the future.+ Read More
