I have a Master of Music in Flute Performance Degree with Distinction from the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 2008 and a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance, Magna Cum Laude, from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia in 2005. I have studied flute under Christina Smith and Carl Hall both of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Robert Willoughby. I have performed in numerous master classes as well as been a member of the National Wind Symphony in New York City. I earned merit scholarships from both the Longy School of Music and Kennesaw State University. I am a member of Phi Kappa Phi, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Golden Key International Honor Society and Pi Kappa Lambda Honorary Music Society. I currently maintain a private studio teaching students in Rockdale, Morgan, Newton, Gwinnett and DeKalb Counties. I have adjudicated for the Georgia Music Educators Association as well as taught sectionals and marching band camps for area schools.+ Read More
