My name is Camila, and I am an actor. Some may think I am nuts for choosing the arts but really... I'd be nuts if I didn't. I knew I would be an actress when I was 5 years old and I have never looked back. I grew up in Arizona, performing in every theater production I could find. In my teen years, modeling with Ford Agency connected me to my first TV gig. That little production got me connected with my first acting agent in Los Angeles and I moved out to pursue my dreams at age 17. As soon as I turned 18, I booked the LEAD in a Nickelodeon pilot. The show was not picked up, and thank goodness, because I was not ready for stardom! Through the years, I have worked on single and multi cam comedy, drama, procedurals, indie film, and many more. Now if that sentence means nothing to you... don't worry! I can teach you all about it in our first session together ;) I have trained in Meisner Technique, Method acting, Cold Reading, Scene Study, Audition Technique, Improv, Sitcom technique, Sense memory, and the list goes on. I have had television roles on the CW, CBS, ABC, Freeform, TNT, HBO, and FOX! And with all of that said, the most valuable work I have ever done, is the work I did on myself. The industry in Los Angeles has tested every one of my insecurities, abilities, and beliefs. And with every test, I have come out the other side with newfound strength, determination, and inspiration! Coaching actors is a skill I enjoy, and seeing my students succeed with JOY, CONFIDENCE, and PASSION brings immeasurable value to my own career. I believe in creating in community and have hosted an acting group for years now. One of which is filled with actors you can see on your TV and movie screens today! Teamwork makes the dream work and I am on your team, from the very moment we meet. At the end of the day, humans just want to create beautiful art that impacts the world and I want to help you do just that. I want to guide you into living an even more abundant life, full of purpose and joy.
