Enhance your range with singing lessons from an instructor with 40+ years experience
When breathing properly, singing is an aerobic activity. It can be like jogging while standing in one spot, so be prepared to have fun while getting a good workout. We're going to do vocal exercises and sing songs from different eras and genres to help you increase your breath support, sharpen your diction, broaden your range, focus your sound and enrich your tone. Developing vocal technique can happen more rapidly than with external musical instruments, so noticeable changes can happen in months or even weeks! Be advised that if you're only interested in pop music, I may not be the right teacher for you. The reason for this is that most pop music is not very melodic (the phrases are short and repetitive and the note range is limited) and most pop singers don't use good technique, so they aren't good examples to copy. That's why some of them have had surgery to correct vocal cord nodules (callouses, essentially) and a few of them have had to do this multiple times. Each person has his or her own unique sound. You don't need to copy someone else. When using your voice in a natural, relaxed way, you can sing for hours without discomfort or sounding raspy. If you're carrying tension in your throat, your voice can feel strained and sound hoarse quickly - within 30 minutes or less. My goal is to help you find the beauty and power that is natural for your voice.

Mr. Cameron has been my teacher for the violin for the last four years. He has helped me iron out problems and improved my ear throughout all those years. His extensive knowledge, history on pieces, on composers, and music in general helps displays a fresh new light on the pieces. I would surely recommend his teaching.

Cameron is an excellent teacher . He has vast musical experience and is so kind, friendly and patient with my son - Aarav .He has gone extra mile out of his way to learn about my son's learning pace and guided him professionally to pick up the violin basics easily. Aarav was not only able to learn from him, but really enjoyed him as a teacher, as well. Cameron is highly skilled at teaching. I would highly recommend him .

Cameron has been my voice teacher for close to four years. I started taking voice lessons for the first time at a community college in Arizona. After moving to Florida, I met Cameron and resumed studying voice. It has been my pleasure to work with him and feel fortunate to have him as my teacher. He has helped me tremendously. In the past, I was a baritone, but Cameron has worked with me to extend my range, so now I am more of a bari/tenor. He has helped me learn better breathing technique, so now I can hold my notes twice as long and my tone is very much improved. It has been an honor to sing the National Anthem on multiple occasions with our local veteran's AVAST Color Guard presentations. Cameron worked with me for many lessons to improve my rendition of the Anthem. The Star-Spangled Banner is not an easy song and I wanted to sing it correctly. Cameron was very patient and helped me with the rhythm and diction. I sing it unaccompanied and I don’t read music, and I am in my 70’s. I think I am a challenge for my teacher! I have received several complementary letters on my performances, so I shared those complements with him because I could not have received them with out his help. I highly recommend Cameron as a teacher and an honest person.
