Hello swimmer! My name is Cam and I can't wait to help you achieve your goals. Whether you're just learning or you need advanced technique advice, I want to see you succeed. I've been teaching and coaching swimming for ten years. I've taught everyone from toddlers to NCAA All-Americans.

My favorite part about swimming is that anyone can do it. Many people don't learn to swim until they are adults. Once they do, it becomes a life-long love!

The range of value I can add to you depends on your needs I can teach customized learn-to-swim lessons, write swim practices, or give you tips for your triathlon swim. Whatever you need, just let me know!

To help you get to know me a little better, here's some things I'm passionate about: my wife, leadership, working in ministry, and of course, swimming. I also enjoy cycling, kayaking, and hiking.

Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions!

I worked with Cam as he coached a community summer swim team. He was excellent at coaching swimmers of all ages. With his younger swimmers (ages 5-10), Cam was great at focusing on drills and swimming fundamentals that made each stroke understandable and fun. With his older swimmers (ages 11-18), Cam seemed to have a strong sense of when his athletes needed extra stroke technique instruction, and how to motivate the swimmers to work hard during training. Swimmers often asked Cam to be the coach in their lanes, and they seemed to sense how helpful Cam is as a coach and how much he cares about them being successful.

Coach Cam and I worked together for two years while coaching at Carlynton. Of all the swim coaches I have worked with in my 43 years of coaching he is the one I
enjoyed working with the most. Many coaches just follow the norm, coach Cam always is looking for a way to do it better. Our swimmers were very sorry to see him go. I highly recommend him as a coach, teacher, and as a person.

Cam coached a number of All-American swimmers, and he's an incredible coach. He's just as good at one-on-one instruction. I'm glad to have worked with him.
