    About Caitlin C.

As both a former Division I athlete, a graduate with a B.S. Honors Biology degree with minors in creative writing and photojournalism, as well as being a current candidate for a M.S. in Ecology, I have a diverse, interdisciplinary background for which I can offer a wide variety of services! Softball: I am a former Division I softball player from Baylor University. I played softball for 15 years, competing at the highest level across the country throughout my career. In 2017, I helped lead the Baylor team to the Women's College World Series. In 2018, I made Sports Center Top 10 for a diving play I made at third base! I teach softball lessons to all ages and levels of experience, to all positions besides pitcher. As a former infielder (specifically shortstop and third base), I specialize in advanced instruction for infielders. I will teach you the skills I acquired learning from the top fielding and hitting instructors in the country, providing sound fundamental training. I will equip you with the skills to compete at the highest level in your respective position. I look forward to working with you! Science: My academic background gives me a great base for teaching a wide variety of subjects. My bachelors degree in Biology and current Master’s degree progress in Ecology give me an excellent foundation to teach both of these subjects from the most basic level to the most advanced. I have considerable experience working in the field, as a former student at Flathead Lake Biological Station in Montana, as well as many field projects in my classes through out undergrad. As a scientific instructor, I will provide ample real world examples to keep you inspired and passionate about science!
