Caio is a Brazilian drummer, producer and engineer who started formal drum lessons at the age of eight. At sixteen, Caio started teaching music and seeking higher education skills. At the age of nineteen attended the Souza Lima Conservatory (Brazil) the biggest conservatory for Jazz and Brazilian music in South America. Meanwhile, Caio attended high education seminars abroad representing his country such as the IASJ (International Association of Schools of Jazz) and the IRSA (International Rhythm Studies Association). In 2017, he achieved his Bachelors at Berklee College of Music with degree in Contemporary Writing and Production, where he expanded his skills learning about producing and arranging for different formats of bands and music, and also expanded his knowledge of live shows, production and performance. Caio has had the opportunity to learn with Casey Scheurell, Neil Smith, Tony Thunder Smith, George Russell Jr., Didier Lockwood, Enrique de Almeida, André Marques, Alaor Neves, David Liebmann, Victor Alcântara, Daniel Alcântara, Sizão Machado, and others. Caio has been working around the globe as a musician, sound engineer and producer, working in the company of names such as Berklee College of Music, Robert Plant, Carol Burnett, The Pixies, Kansas, Charlie Puth, and others.
