Professional software developer with 15 years of experience in the .NET stack with a degree in computer science from Georgia Tech.  I believe that we should start with the basics to make sure we're not missing important concepts.  Once we have those down, we can move on to more advanced concepts.  I enjoy programming live while sharing my screen but I also like my students to go through exercises themselves.  The best way to succeed is through repeated failure and we will succeed with time!

I'm a QA Analyst trying to learn beginner programming concepts.  I've tried watching (and rewatching) training videos but always have questions with no one to ask, until Byron.  I've never had someone be so patient and even tempered while teaching even the simplest of programming concepts.  He uses real world examples too which has helped more than the basic "hello world".    There's more of a why behind the code. Highly recommended!

You honestly cannot find a better instructor. He is so knowledgeable and patient, but more importantly he can take complex topics and break them down into easily understandable pieces. The best part about Byron is his massive amount of experience in the industry. So his examples are practical and real world based. Nothing you can learn from watching a tutorial or reading an article. Believe me, I tried.... :)
