I am a recording and performing artist as well as a critically acclaimed composer contracted with the prestigious SteepleChase Records. I have three albums released so far under my own leadership and I am also a voting member of the Recording Academy. Although my main expertise is Jazz Piano, Music Theory and Improvisation, I have a professional experience of nearly 20 years on both playing and teaching almost every genre from Classical to Jazz including more contemporary styles such as Pop, Rock and R&B. Holding a BA in Music Performance from Istanbul Bilgi University, I teach piano, music theory, composition and ear training in addition to ensemble classes in three languages including; English, French and Turkish. I am passionate about teaching as much as I enjoy performing and composing. Being a very meticulous person in my work, I see teaching as one of my essential tools of personal growth and self realization. All levels of beginners, amateurs and professionals are welcome to study with me. I'm trying to provide a highly interactive approach considering each individual's needs and goals instead of a rigid methodical practice leaving a lot of room to creativity and self expression. My curriculum focus on a wide range of topics including; Piano Technique, Music Theory, Jazz Harmony, Improvisation, Composition and Repertoire. I also prepare students for auditions to all major music schools around the globe since more than a decade.
