High School - Oklahoma, Guys and Dolls, Finian's Rainbow, Yakee Doodle Dandee and Alice in Wonderland.

Played supporting roles and chorus throughout high school, performed solo songs in churches, solos in choir concerts, and earned 3 first place awards for singing competitions. Also participated in two arts camps, including the Interlochen School for the Arts summer program. Also performed in Broadway workshops in solos and duets for audiences.

Assisted the choir as the tenor section leader and provided the soloist part for oratorios and solo sacred song selections.

Sang tenor solo songs as entertainment in the evenings at a restaurant where the singers also serve or cook the meals.

The Magic Flute (Die Zauberflute)

Provided parts of Ensemble, Monostantos, Tamino understudy, 3 priests roles over 4 performances, alternating roles.

Austro-American Institute of Music, Vienna Austria

Attended school in Vienna, taking advanced German classes, voice lessons, vocal coaching lessons and performed in a recital. I attended 22 operas at the renowned Vienna State Opera House, which included the full Wagner Ring Cycle operas. I also took a semester course about just those three Wagner operas. While there, I toured europe and attended Swan Lake at the critically acclaimed Hungarian National Ballet. These experiences influenced my love of antiquity, european culture and the long history of the arts, both classical music and european art forms, such as sculpture, painting and textile arts. I also developed stylistically through my vocal coaching in German art song and the German language pronunciation.

Paid as ensemble , lead tenor understudy and trio cast member for both The Magic Flute and My Fair Lady.
