I am a professional Furniture Designer and Maker in the woodworking field. I have worked with Interior Designers, Architects, and others to make original furnishings and other objects for 25 years. Most of that has been residential furnishings of all kinds. Some has been large projects for commercial clients. I also spent a couple of years overseeing large scale production and product development in several factories in China. I have always strived to make items that are creative, beautiful, and thoughtfully detailed. Although original most of my designs could be considered somewhat modern. My students can tell me their goals and preferences and we can work together on a plan to take them there and beyond as far as they desire. I believe that as a student begins to understand the vastness of possibilities in woodworking that their goals can change!
