Hello, I've been a performing musician since grade school (1987). I have performed in competition or on the professional stage as a guitarist, saxophonist, bassist. I first started teaching beginning students while working at a music camp in 1997. I enjoy passing along all I have learned and encourage students to explore alternative approaches to instruments as well as standard rudiments. On the academic side, I speak German fluently, having lived in Hamburg from 1998-1999. I was a 4.125 GPA student in high school, studied Calculus, AP U.S. History/Art History/Calculus and English. I scored a 1510 out of 1600 on the 1996 version of the SAT, a 32 on the ACT and a 1540 on the GRE.
