I am a professional singer, songwriter, and actress from Nashville, TN. I am finishing my degree in Musical Theater at Lipscomb University. My anticipated graduation is in 2019.
Voice students can expect to improve week to week in their vocal technique. I love working with students to accentuate the uniqueness of their voice while teaching tools that will help them feel freer, stronger, and more confident in their ability to perform. I specialize in musical theater performance (both classical and contemporary) and contemporary performance (pop, jazz). But, I believe that every style of singing calls for proper technique and vocal training.
I am currently working on writing, producing, and recording a solo mixtape, set to release in 2019. I am releasing a solo EP of Musical Theater covers, titled "Opening", in August of 2018.
I've been acting since the age of three years old. Some of my favorite roles include Annie (Annie), Evillene (The Wiz), Alice (Alice in Wonderland), and Exton in Nashville Shakespeare Festival's all-female production of Richard II. I will be performing in a production of Stephen Schwartz' "Godspell" this fall. As an actress, I firmly believe that connecting to song on an emotional level is crucial to an impactful performance. With that in mind, students can expect to also learn new techniques in acting out a performance.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better performer!
Teaching private voice lessons focused on developing technique, proper breathing, and improving in overall performance. Help students choose songs to add to repertoire, assist with preparing audition material, etc.
