I specialize in seeking and catching weaknesses in musicians and creating customized exercises to strengthen my students. My goal is not to have a star student that builds my reputation as a teacher but instead to have happy students that are satisfied with every lesson. I love questions and I love those "aha!" moments that my students encounter. I feel most accomplished when my students show up to the lesson excited and ready to learn. I used to be a driver for the United Parcel Service, but I quit for a career in music. This includes teaching, composing, doing studio work and performing around the Pierce and King County area. My compositions are found in a few radio commercials and state documentaries and my own, personal material found on my CDs (which will also be for sale when I am satisfied with it).
