    About Brittany C.

Brittany earned her Master’s in Dance Education and K-12 NJ teaching certification from the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers University in 2016. She graduated Cum Laude from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, receiving a BFA in Dance Performance as well as a minor in Psychology in 2015. She is also a certified Yoga Instructor. Brittany has spent her life studying and performing dance. Her goals include advocating for the importance of dance education and dance science in the lives of children and helping dancers maintain their wellness. She has been continually seeking knowledge about dance injuries and safe pedagogical practices for dance educators since her time at MGSA. Brittany has co-presented her discoveries about dance injuries and injury prevention in education in workshops for both dance educators and dance students. Brittany continually engages in the dance community by guest teaching at private and public K-12 schools, adjunct teaching in conservatory & higher education settings, and adjudicating and choreographing solos for dancers of today. She hopes to guide dancers to understand their bodies and the way they move in order to achieve healthy and fulfilled careers in the field of dance.

    Private Business

My company was created to fill the need for comprehensive and individualized dance training that exists in the competitive and pre-professional areas of dance. Dancers are guided to success via individualized education on anatomical body alignment, functional movement, muscular strength & flexibility, and the prevention of injuries. One-on-one training allows for dancers to correct their weaknesses and habits with functional exercises to rapidly improve overall ability, all while receiving consistent communication, guidance, and encouragement from their instructor. The vital knowledge of the body and mechanics of movement applied appropriately to a dancer's desired skills and individual learning needs is the formula for success in the field of dance.
