    Bridget is an award-winning operatic mezzo-soprano and voice technician. She helps students of all ages develop their own unique instrument through healthy vocal production and technique, movement, and body awareness. She is a warm, nurturing, and enthusiastic teacher who tailors each lesson to the specific needs and goals of her students. She strives to create an environment in which students will gain confidence, feel safe to express themselves, and grow in their vocal abilities. Bridget works with singers across genres including choral singing, pop, musical theater, rock, jazz, classical, opera, and more! Bridget is a recent Metropolitan Opera National Council District Winner and has performed with companies including Fort Worth Opera, The Dallas Bach Society, Kentucky Opera, Opera Mississippi, The Natchez Festival of Music, Charlottesville Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, among others. Soon she will join Shreveport Opera as a resident artist making her role debut as Rosina in The Barber of Seville. Bridget recently taught a masterclass with the students at the University of Southern Indiana working on technique and style in both classical and musical theater repertoire. She has a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance from Boston University and a BM in Voice/BA in Film from Western Michigan University. Bridget also performs as a soloist in the Opera-Rock mashup group, The Tapestry, singing everything from Wagner to Van Halen. She is a warm, nurturing, and enthusiastic teacher who tailors each lesson to the specific needs and goals of her students. Many of Bridget's students perform leading roles in their high school and community theater productions, are soloists and music leaders in their church worship teams, and have gone on to pursue singing in college and as professionals. Bridget works with singers across genres including choral singing, pop, musical theater, rock, jazz, classical, opera, and more! Bridget is a recent Metropolitan Opera National Council District Winner, Mary Jacobs Smith Singer of the Year Winner, and has performed on the stages of The Glimmerglass Festival, Fort Worth Opera, Kentucky Opera, Opera Mississippi, Charlottesville Opera, Shreveport Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera and more!     I cannot recommend Bridget enough, three lessons and i'm already singing way better than when I started. She' s very good at explaining the whys and I love that she gives clear, easy instructions. Would highly recommend!

    Mu Phi Epsilon (ΜΦΕ) is a co-ed international professional music fraternity. Today, Mu Phi Epsilon has chapters both nationally and internationally. The fraternity supports achievement in music through the awarding of grants and scholarships, as well as music competitions, concerts, and summer music programs.
