I have been teaching for several years through TakeLessons and have loved every second of it! I work with my students to make learning oboe fun by not just focusing on standard repertoire, but also any other songs from pop culture/movies/etc. that the student might be interested in. I also try to make my lessons very well-rounded by including music theory, singing, and ear training.

UCLA Ensembles

During my 4 years at UCLA, I played different oboe parts in numerous ensembles, such as Philharmonia, Wind Ensemble, Opera, Chamber Orchestra, Hooligan Theater, and more.

San Diego City Ballet Orchestra

During my senior year in high school, I had the opportunity to perform The Nutcracker with the San Diego City Ballet orchestra 11 times. The Nutcracker had many English horn solos which allowed me to broaden my playing skills, as well as giving me to chance to perform with a great orchestra.
